The National Association of Resale & Thrift Shops was founded on Sept 24, 1984 in Chicago, Illinois and became active nationwide by 1988, when it held its first Annual Conference. With over 1,000 members, the Association serves thrift, resale, and consignment shops of all types by providing educational and professional development for shopkeepers, promoting communication within the industry and by building public recognition of the industry. NARTS is an education trade association for the resale/consignment/thrift store industry. Owner and managers can find complete information on membership in the association on their Website.
